This is Bill Strickland, WA4VQI. Looks like he's checking in on a goblin patrol.
Check out these old cars and the antennas. This photo is dated 1953. The car on the
far right has a ham tag, W4YXW.
Here's some more classic cars with unusual mobile whips, all of which are probably for
75 meters. The picture was not dated but the hams' calls were noted, left to right
W4RQS(Larry Fralick),W4TKL(Bill "Teakettle" Varnedoe) and W4PTU(?).
